Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$ released the track “Land of the Free” on Inauguration Day this year. The song is another example that the most interesting, challenging, expressive protest music today comes in the form of rap, hip hop and r’n’b. Joey Bada$$ performed a great version of the track on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
