This is just Android. Google’s goal with Pixel C is probably to get tablets front and center at the workplace, or at the very least, seen as machines that go beyond pure consumption but can also get stuff done, too.

This part of a Gizmondo review in my mind moved Google even closer to “The Circle,” the all-encompassing, ruling Internet company in David Eggers’ comedic-dystopian novel of the same name. Tablet-like screens and smart watches rule everything around and about the characters, all in the name of productivity and self-optimization.
