Escapism is dead. Today, superheroes, the relationships, and their worlds are as dysfunctional and depressing as the real world. It started with Nolan’s Batman and reached a temporary peak with post-Hydra Agents of SHIELD. This trailer looks like it will continue down that path. The movies are more interesting and challenging this way, but sometimes I miss expensive, cool escapism
