Hundred Waters continue to charm me. First they released song of the year* “Down From the Rafters,” (which is available on NPR Music’s Austin 100 compilation until the end of March.) Now “Cavity,” equally mesmerizing. Most fascinating is what is sung and how it is sung: Voice and lyrics combined create the atmosphere of a fragile, abstract, beauty that is subdued and frightening.
