Hundred Waters released this atmospheric beauty “Down From the Rafters” last week. I heard it first on the All Songs Considered podcast today. The editor presenting the cut said he was obsessed with the new song surprise by the “avant-folk” band from Gainesville, FL.
I know why. Heard it first in the supermarket on headphones, thought it was amazing. Had to listen to it on the stereo once I got home. It’s been playing for 20 Minutes and I keep hitting the play button…
It’s beautiful and tragic.
I’m spellbound.
