One of my favorite, pragmatic (feminist) principles is the idea of enthusiastic (sexual) consent as outlined in the book and corresponding blog Yes Means Yes. It’s a concept that seems obvious at first, but on second (and third, etc.) glance it’s shocking to see how all-encompassing rape culture is and how dominant negative concepts of (female/non-male) sexuality are.
